SOUTH AFRICA -COLS & REPS TRANSVAAL 1884 ENSCHEDE EXHIBITION REPRINTS. A rare group of the 1884 1d Arms in IMPERFORATE PAIRS, each a different colour, on thin ungummed paper. Maj. Ian B. Matthews ("Transvaal Philately") states "Late in 1884 Enschede held a printing exhibition in Haarlem and colour trials of this issue were on display. These trials were all printed from the 1d plate and appeared in sixteen different colours" (11 pairs)
