A series of pencil design works on 4 sheets of artists tracing paper endorsed "ED897, 903, 906, 916" with detailed pencil drawings of a 2½d stamp (similar to the issued design) and development sketches showing either Hermes atop of a globe with UPU inscription, a world map and also a "2½d" with globe alongside.
